Here's a thought:
The internet represents the Global Mind. The collective "brain" of our entire species.
So,
The more time you spend on the internet, the greater your awareness of the Global Mind.
This is a wonderful thing.
Surf the 'net. Expand your horizons.

Ahh, The Fountain. Great picture.
lama marut points out that the Buddha said as we get closer to enlightenment, we get extraordinary powers (siddhis) like omniscience and the ability to move great distances very quickly and then he goes on to compare the internet to near-omniscience, and air travel etc. to "moving great distances quickly." so maybe this Global Mind is a sign that we are collectively approaching Buddhahood.
