NY Times: Americans Becoming More Tolerant, Accepting of Others

Just saw a great article on nytimes.com about religious tolerance, specifically about people's openness to regard other religions as fair alternate pathways to eternal life.

"For example, 70 percent of Americans affiliated with a religion or denomination said they agreed that “many religions can lead to eternal life,” including majorities among Protestants and Catholics. Among evangelical Christians, 57 percent agreed with the statement, and among Catholics, 79 percent did."

Fascinating! Read the article here

A wise man once said: "Difference. The only way to deal with differences is to respect them."

These are hopeful and wonderful times of growth, and we are lucky to be living in them.

Go tolerance!
