Microlympics

While the Olympics are steady going a group called the Hong Kong Lego User Group (Yay, a website with Chinese text!) decided to create their own, smaller scaled 'Olympics'.

Using 300,000 plastic bricks the Chinese created their very own Olympic village. Measuring 10ft by 26ft (or 3 by 8 meters). Believe it or not but the town is even inhabited, by 4500 Lego 'people' or in this case sportsmen.

The main stadium, the Bird Nest, turned out to be especially good.

Lots of photos available here. Including ones that were taken while the village was in the making.
